Take home this splendid collector's item created by Jeff Koons for the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao.
Jeffrey Koons, more simply known as Jeff Koons (York, January 21, 1955), is an American artist known for his kitschy works, which ironically interpret the American way of life and its tendency towards consumerism. He is also considered an icon of the neo-pop style and is one of the richest artists in the world.
Throughout his career, Koons has expressed himself through the use of a wide range of techniques, such as sculpture, painting, installations and photography, and the use of different materials including pigments, plastics, inflatables, marble, metals and porcelain. The artist is generally referred to as Andy Warhol's heir who is carrying forward pop art. He is also generally associated with the artist Marcel Duchamp, whose ready-made technique he reinterprets.
